Type of work available.
Fruit Thinning occurs in our orchards during November and December and is paid on a contract or piecework basis per tree. Thinning is the removal of defective fruit from the tree allowing the remaining fruit to size up.  Training and supervision is provided.

Apple Picking is available from January to May each year. Apple picking is a great way to earn cash while enjoying the beautiful Hawkes Bay scenery. This work is paid on a contract basis, with the rates varying by variety; the average price per bin will depend on the area and type of fruit you are picking.
