Mr Apple New Zealand Limited is New Zealand’s largest vertically integrated apple grower, packer and exporter, exporting between 3 and 3.5 million cartons per year.
The company is the second largest organic apple producer in New Zealand, having started converting orchards to this growing method in 1998.
Mr Apple has 20 orchards, 3 packhouses and a coolstore, providing a logistics service for its own and a number of external growers in the Hawke’s Bay and Nelson areas.
The company employs 160 people on a permanent basis and at the peak of the season, employs up to 1,700.
